Pedestrian dies weeks after Winnersh crash

A pedestrian who was hit by a car earlier this month in Berkshire has died.

The 76-year-old Twyford woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after the crash on the A329 Reading Road, Winnersh, on 9 May.

She died on Monday, 17 days after the collision outside Sainsbury's, which involved a silver Honda Jazz.

The road was closed for more than two hours and police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
