Maidenhead death: Tests on woman's body 'inconclusive'

The post mortem examination on the body of a woman discovered in Maidenhead was "inconclusive", police have said.

The 41-year-old was found at a house in Mulberry Walk just after 20:00 GMT on Friday.

Thames Valley Police arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He has been released on police bail until 15 May.

The woman's next of kin have been informed and officers are carrying out investigations at the property.

Toxicology tests have been requested by the pathologist and formal identification of the woman is yet to take place.

Thames Valley Police said they were continuing to treat the death as "unexplained".
