Murder arrests after Bracknell stab death

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Berkshire.

The man, thought to be in his 20s, was found at an address in Appledore, Great Hollands, in Bracknell, shortly before 23:30 BST on Friday.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene but he was later pronounced dead.

Two men, aged 42 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. Police said the investigation was "at an early stage".

Det Ch Insp Vince Grey, of Thames Valley Police, said: "I would like to reassure residents that a full investigation is taking place and incidents such as this are rare in Bracknell.

"We also believe the victim knew his attackers and this was not a stranger attack."
