A man pictured at the scene of a fire that destroyed a house in Windsor is being sought by police.

The blaze in Park Street, started at about 22:00 BST on Tuesday 7 May, took around five hours to bring it under control.

Police believe a man, wearing a hooded top, might be able to assist in the investigation into the fire's cause.

The terraced house affected was undergoing renovation work. No-one was injured.

Det Sgt John Slater said: "We are keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire, which we are trying to establish alongside our partners at the fire service."

Eighteen fire engines from across five counties were called to the fire with Windsor Castle allowing firefighters to use its water.

Soldiers were also called in to keep watching crowds safe.
