Maidenhead Courtney Buses timetable shake-up

Some bus passengers will face increased journey times following a shake-up of bus timetables in Maidenhead.

A new £1.2m fleet of nine single decker buses will operate with revised timetables on routes 4, 5, 6, 8 and 239 from 18 February.

Other changes include an increase in services on some routes, while some roads will no longer be served.

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead said passenger numbers and traffic congestion had driven the changes.

The Courtney Buses-operated services will be colour-coded by route.

They will also feature CCTV, as well as screens which list the next stop and recorded announcements for blind and partially-sighted passengers.
