Cox Green sliproad death: Man 'may be hit-and-run victim'

A man found fatally injured on a Berkshire slip road may have been the victim of a hit-and-run accident.

The 22-year-old died in hospital after he was found by passers-by on the southbound entry slip of the A404M at Cox Green on Saturday morning.

Police believe he may have been struck by a vehicle between 02:00 and 02:30 GMT.

Anyone who was walking along Shoppenhangers Road near Norrey's Drive at the time should contact police.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he later died.
