'Bad heroin' risk in Slough and Windsor

Drug users in Slough and Windsor have been warned by police a "bad batch" of heroin could be in circulation.

Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman following suspected drugs use in two separate incidents.

The deaths both happened in the past three weeks. The man, in his 40s, was found dead at a sheltered housing complex in Slough on 6 October.

There have been a further two cases of overdoses in the area in which the drug users did not die.
