Driver killed in Ascot two-car collision


A driver from Surrey has been killed in a two-car collision near Ascot in Berkshire.

Police said a Renault Clio and a BMW 318i collided on the A332 Swinley Road, near the junction with Bracknell Road, towards Ascot at 0800 BST.

The driver of the Clio, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment. Police are appealing for witnesses.
