Pedestrian dies following Berkshire collision


A 37-year-old pedestrian has died following a collision in Berkshire.

A Peugeot 106 was in collision with the man in Station Road, Thatcham, at about 2048 GMT on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A spokesman added the road was closed for a number of hours while the scene was examined.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has further information to contact them.
