Two men held after taxi driver attack near Sandhurst


Two men have been arrested after a taxi driver was assaulted and had his car stolen in Berkshire.

The attack happened during the early hours of Monday in South Road, Owlsmoor, near Sandhurst, after the men were picked up in Bracknell.

The taxi was later found burnt out in a car park near Savernake Pond.

Police arrested two men near Martin's Heron railway station at about 0100 GMT on suspicion of robbery. They were due to be questioned.
