Dogs attack boy, 3, on Berkshire bridge

A three-year-old was bitten on the legs in an attack by two dogs in Berkshire.

The black dogs, possibly Scottish Terriers, ran over to the boy while he was standing on a bridge with his mother near Emmbrook Road, Wokingham.

The animals attacked the boy before their owner managed to pull him free and put her pets back on their lead on Friday afternoon.

She then walked off with the dogs. The boy suffered wounds to his upper legs but did not require hospital treatment.

Thames Valley police are trying to trace the owner who is white, in her late 50s to early 60s, about 5ft 4in (1.62m) tall with short black hair.

She was wearing dark trousers and a dark jumper.
