Jury fails to reach verdict in terror trial

The jury in the trial of a man accused of the preparation of terrorist acts has been unable to reach a verdict.
Mubashir Jamil was on trial at the Old Bailey accused of making a travel booking and purchasing items for travel to Syria to engage in violent Jihad.
Jurors were discharged after four days of deliberations in the case of the 22-year-old, from Belmont Road, in Luton.
The prosecution has until 24 March to consider if there should be a retrial.
