Dean Haverley death: Man charged with manslaughter

A 62-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a father in a pub in Buckinghamshire.

Anthony Gardener, of Burlington Road, Burnham, is accused of killing Dean Haverley, 48, just after midnight on 13 August last year.

Mr Haverley died in hospital following the incident in The George Pub in Burnham High Street, near Slough.

Following the incident, Mr Haverley's friend Colin Munt described him as a "happy-go-lucky top bloke".

Mr Gardener is due to appear at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on 2 March.
