Four arrested after man found hurt in a Stevenage street dies

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died in hospital having been found lying injured in a street.

Police were called at 04:20 BST to Angle Ways, Stevenage, to reports of a man with serious injuries.

The man was taken to Lister Hospital in Hertfordshire, where he died.

Two men, aged 35 and 57, and one woman, 43, all from Stevenage, and a man, 18, from London have been arrested.

Det Insp Justine Jenkins said: "Whilst it was the early hours of the morning when the incident occurred, I would appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard anything to please report it to police.

"I would also like to reassure the local community we believe this to be an isolated incident and would like to thank residents for their patience whilst we investigate at the scene."
