Woman, 18, sexually assaulted in High Wycombe

An 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the early hours of the morning in High Wycombe, police said.

She was walking near Trinity Church, off London Road, at 03:40 BST when she was confronted by an unknown man who sexually assaulted her.

The woman called for help and the man ran off in the direction of High Wycombe town centre.

The man is described as white, 25-30 years old, about 5ft 10in (1.78m) and has short brown hair.

He was wearing dark jeans and a jacket.

Det Sgt Yasmin Dean, of Thames Valley Police, said "This was a frightening assault on a young woman and I would ask anyone who may have been in the area around this time to contact police."
