High Wycombe shotgun attack victim 'targeted', police say

A man found with shotgun injuries in Buckinghamshire was the victim of a targeted hit, police believe.

The victim, who has not been named but is in his early-30s, was found in Hithercroft Road, Downley, High Wycombe, at about 17:30 GMT on Sunday.

He needed medical attention but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Thames Valley Police said.

Det Insp Brendan Murray said the man appeared to have been targeted and there was not a wider threat.
