A man has been charged with the murder of his teenage girlfriend in Hertfordshire.

Jack Wall, 22, of Hadrian's Walk, Stevenage, is accused of the murder of nineteen-year-old Amelia Arnold.

Ms Arnold disappeared from the home she shared with him and their young daughter on Wednesday.

Mr Wall was arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of murder. A body believed to be that of Ms Arnold was later found in woodland in Hatfield.

Mr Wall is due to appear before Hatfield Remand Court on Tuesday morning.

Joseph Potter, 41, from Sycamore Lane, Bletchley, was arrested earlier and has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Amelia's family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers."

A body was recovered in woods off Travellers Lane 10 miles from Ms Arnold's home but is yet to be formally identified.
