Two ex-teachers charged over 50-year-old sex offences
Two former teachers aged in their 80s have been charged with child sex offences dating back more than 50 years at a prestigious prep school.
Roland Peter Wright, 81, and Hugh Henry, 80, are accused of indecently assaulting boys at Caldicott Preparatory School, in Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire.
The offences are said to have happened between 1959 and 1970.
They will face magistrates in Aylesbury on 21 December.
Mr Wright, of Crown Lane, Farnham Royal, is charged with seven counts of incitement to commit gross indecency and 18 counts of indecent assault.
Mr Henry, of Pomeroy Close, Amersham, is accused of two counts of incitement to commit gross indecency and eight counts of indecent assault.
Luke Bulpitt, a casework lawyer with the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "This case involves sexual assaults allegedly committed by the two men, who were teachers, against 12 victims, all young boys."
The school has not commented on the charges.
