A school in Bedfordshire is to remain closed on Monday while investigators attempt to find the source of an "unusual" smell that emerged on Friday.
Pupils and staff from Brickhill Lower School in Bedford were moved to a nearby community centre from where the children were picked up by parents.
Head teacher Viv Francis said the school had been evacuated and would stay closed while inquiries continue.
Bedford Borough Council said a child and a member of staff had felt unwell.
A council statement said: "Following reports of an unusual odour at Brickhill Lower School staff immediately evacuated the school.
"Utility companies were contacted to look into the issue and the emergency services were also called as a member of staff and a child felt unwell."
