A crackdown on organised crime saw 22 people arrested in raids across London and Oxfordshire.

A total of 180 officers raided 24 addresses in London, Oxford and Abingdon at 07:00 GMT earlier looking for 26 suspects.

They were part of Thames Valley Police's Operation Stronghold, which has been launched to fight "serious and organised crime".

Extra patrols have been carried out in the three areas to reassure residents.

The 19 men and three women were all arrested on suspicion of drugs related offences and aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
