Thousands of cigarettes seized in Gravesend raid
About 300,000 cigarettes have been seized in a raid targeting the importation and sale of illegal tobacco.
The cigarettes were found in Gravesend at 10:00 GMT on Thursday as part of a pre-planned operation by Kent Police.
Police said an estimated £120,000 of tax had not been paid on the cigarettes.
Six men have been arrested on suspicion of offences related to money laundering and tax evasion.
Four men, aged 21, 25, 36 and 25 and all from Gravesend, a 34-year-old man from Manchester and 19-year-old man from Ilford in east London were arrested and released on bail until 23 February.
