Woman jailed for killing daughter charged with baby son's murder
A woman who was convicted of killing her three-year-old daughter has appeared in court accused of murdering her baby son 12 years ago.
Lesley Dunford, 37, is charged with killing seven-month-old Harley at her former home in Pelwood Road, Camber, East Sussex, on 27 August 2003.
Ms Dunford, previously of Exeter, Devon, is currently in prison for the manslaughter of daughter Lucy in 2004.
A preliminary trial date has been set for 11 April 2016 at Lewes Crown Court.
Lucy died from asphyxia on 2 February 2004, six months after the death of Harley.
She was jailed for seven years for manslaughter following a trial in June 2012 and appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Eastwood Park prison on Thursday.
