A new recycling facility which will provide construction materials for major road schemes, including improvement works for the M3 and M4, has opened in Hampshire.

The plant in Eversley is expected to recycle up to 250,000 tonnes of waste concrete and hardcore material a year.

It will then be reused in several projects which also includes Shinfield relief road in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Some residents had raised traffic concerns over the new centre, however.
