Pedestrian killed by lorry named as James Attwood

A pedestrian killed when he was hit by a lorry on the A31 in the North Downs in Surrey has been named as James Attwood from Hampshire.

The 30-year-old, from the Havant area, suffered fatal injuries when he was struck by a truck at Hog's Back, near Puttenham, on 11 September.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.

Surrey Police has asked anyone who witnessed the crash at about 10:00 BST to contact them.
