Absconder Adam Yaroo wanted over South East burglaries

A prisoner who absconded from prison is wanted in connection with a series of burglaries across the south east of England.

Convicted burglar Adam Yaroo, 28, left Sudbury Prison in Derbyshire on 23 June.

He is wanted over burglaries in Godalming, Hurtmore, Epsom, Kingswood, Chipstead and Tadworth in Surrey, between 3 July and 8 September.

Yaroo is also accused of burglaries in Kent, Sussex, Derbyshire and London.

He was convicted for burglary in 2012 and sentenced to four years in prison.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: "Despite various enquiries to try to trace Yaroo, officers have been unable to locate him."

Yaroo's last known address was in Kent and he also has links to London.

He is described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall, stocky and with short black hair and brown eyes.

Surrey Police asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the force.
