Matthew Jordan's funeral takes place in Middlesbrough

The funeral of a student whose body was found in the water at Windermere has taken place.

Matthew Jordan, from Middlesbrough, went missing early on 27 March in Bowness-on-Windermere after becoming separated from friends on a night out.

The body of the 20-year-old was discovered by a police marine unit on 15 April. About 1,000 volunteers had taken part in search efforts.

His funeral took place at St Mary's Cathedral in Coulby Newham.
