High-speed ferry services between Dorset and the Channel Islands have been cancelled on Wednesday due to forecasted poor weather.

Condor Ferries said its Weymouth-Guernsey and Weymouth-Jersey routes would not run.

The region is set to see wet and blustery conditions on Wednesday with the chance of gale force winds developing during the day.

The ferry operator said it hoped to run an extra sailing on Thursday.
