Man remanded over Chester attempted murder charge

A 22-year-old man charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Chester has been remanded to appear at crown court.

The 35-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest as he walked along City Walls at about 21:30 BST on 21 October.

Police said he remained in a stable condition in hospital.

Philip Green, of no fixed abode, will appear at Chester Crown Court on 4 November. Anyone with information about the attack is urged to contact police.
