Gatwick Airport cocaine haul: Jacqueline Millar pleads guilty

A woman has admitted smuggling cocaine with an estimated street value of £800,000 found in luggage at Gatwick Airport.

The Border Force said about 8kg (17lb) of the drug was seized in luggage on a flight from Toronto on 1 September.

Jacqueline Millar, 50, of Livingstone Road, Blackburn, Lancashire, pleaded guilty to importing class A drugs at Croydon Crown Court.

She has been remanded in custody until sentencing on 7 October.
