Cocaine found in Gatwick Airport luggage

Cocaine with an estimated street value of up to £800,000 has been seized at Gatwick Airport, the Border Force said.

About 8kg of the drug was found in some luggage on a flight from Toronto on Sunday.

Jacqueline Miller, of Livingstone Road, Blackburn, appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on Monday charged with drug offences.

The 49 year old was remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on 16 September.
