Tonbridge train suspect, 18, held over knife incident

A teenager is being questioned on suspicion of brandishing a knife on a train between East Sussex, Kent and London.

British Transport Police were called at about 09:00 GMT.

Officers intercepted the Southeastern train travelling from Hastings to Charing Cross via Tunbridge Wells at Tonbridge station.

The 18-year-old man was removed from the train by police. There are no reports of injuries.
