Police investigating a shooting at a West Midlands market believe the men involved may have links to Coventry.

A bullet was found lodged in a market stall near Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre after a fight between a group of men on 4 October.

On Monday, police released CCTV images of two men wanted in connection with the investigation.

West Midlands Police said they believed the man seen in the CCTV pictures wearing a grey hat fired the gun.

Det Con Sharon Duncan said: "This reckless behaviour could have cost someone their life and we need to bring those responsible to justice."

Six people were arrested on the day of the shooting. Two were released on bail, one was freed without charge and the other three were dealt with in connection with a separate matter.
