Sainthood for nun from Brighton 'moves a step closer'


The case to make a nun from Brighton, who helped save the lives of more than 60 Italian Jews from the Nazis, a saint has taken a significant step forward.

Mother Riccarda Beauchamp Hambrough used her convent to hide the Jews who were threatened with the concentration camps.

Now the Vatican has taken her case for sainthood to the next level.
