A1(M) reopens after crash between Bramham and Boston Spa

The Highways Agency said drivers experienced delays of up to three hours when a lorry overturned on the A1(M) between West and North Yorkshire.

Four people were hurt in the accident, with two seriously injured.

The lorry crashed at about 06:20 GMT on Friday while travelling southbound between junction 45 at Boston Spa, and junction 44 at Bramham.

Its load spilt on to the northbound carriageway. The road was reopened at about 20:00 GMT.
