Wembley visitors book to be auctioned in Eastbourne

A visitors book salvaged from the Royal Box at Wembley Stadium will be auctioned in Eastbourne.

The book, which contains signatures from the Queen and world speed record holder Donald Campbell, was found in the 1980s in the medical centre at the stadium.

A builder was told to clear the room and throw everything in the skip, but he decided to salvage the book.

It was used between 1957 and 1964 and is expected to make up to £700 in the auction.
