Fears for animals at rescue farm near Maidstone

Help

A campaign has been started to stop a Kent rescue farm being shut down and to save some of its animals from being destroyed.

Hop Garden Farm in Teeston, near Maidstone is owned by 71-year-old Maggie Marfell, but she says she is being forced to sell the land because the council will not let her stay in a mobile home on the site.

She says if she has to move, she will not be able to look after the animals and some may have to be put down.
