A man charged with 15 burglaries across five counties is wanted by police after failing to appear for his trial.

Thomas Gilheaney, 20, whose last known address was Cobholm Place, Cambridge, was due in court in Ipswich in October.

The charges relate to burglaries in Suffolk, Norfolk, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Bedfordshire over a six-month period in 2008 and 2009.

He is described as 5ft 7in (1.7m) tall, slim with brown hair. Police said his family lives in Cambridgeshire.
