Pedestrian killed on A10 in Cambridgeshire van crash


A man walking along a road in Cambridgeshire died when he was struck by a van.

Peter King, 49, of Swinburn Close, Royston in Hertfordshire, died at about 0515 GMT on Saturday.

He was walking from Melbourn along the A10 when he was hit by a white van north of the road's junction with the A505.

The 36-year-old van driver was uninjured. Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
