Fancy dress pair attacked by gang in Horley after party

A gang of youths who attacked two men wearing fancy dress costumes are being sought by police in Surrey.

The victims, from Crawley, West Sussex, were dressed as women and going home from a friend's party in Horley.

They were kicked and punched by up to 15 people after one of the victims jokingly said to a suspect: "Are you looking for a good time?".

Detectives have only just released details about the attack in Court Lodge Road just after midnight on 24 October.

One of the victims, a 17-year-old from Crawley, suffered a suspected cracked rib and needed stitches in his lip.

The other victim, a 20-year-old from Crawley, suffered swelling and grazing.

The main suspect was described as a white man, aged between 18 and 20 years old, of slim build, and about 5ft 6in tall, with short dark hair. He was wearing a hooded top.

He was with a woman who was described as white, of the same age and of slim build, with blonde hair tied in a pony-tail. She was wearing a white top.
