Opinions needed in Bishop Auckland revamp

Residents of a market town in County Durham are to be asked to help shape the future regeneration of their area.

Work carried out in Bishop Auckland has already included improved pedestrian access in the Market Place, as well as extra parking spaces.

Durham County Council now plans to create more space in front of the town hall for civic and community activities, and replace paving stones.

Plans will be on show in the town hall for one week from 13 September.
