A Scottish terrier called Knopa was crowned the winner of Crufts' best in show award on the final day of the annual competition.

Five-year-old Knopa and her American handler, Rebecca Cross, beat six other dogs who took part in the final stage of the prestigious award.

They had been whittled down from the 21,000 dogs that had taken part in the four-day event.

Ms Cross said her win at Birmingham's NEC was "completely unreal".

"She is probably going to retire after this show - that makes this even more special," Ms Cross said.
