Stephen Frears says America has an 'acting crisis'

Director Stephen Frears has said he thinks there is a crisis in American acting, which is why so many British actors are enjoying success in Hollywood, including in his latest film Lay the Favorite.

Speaking to Mark Lawson on BBC Radio Four's Front Row, he said he believed that lack of acting training and theatre was to blame.
