Church of England cracking down on sham marriages

The Church of England is issuing new guidance to its clergy and legal officers to prevent sham marriages.

It follows reports last month that cases of suspected sham marriages in England and Wales had risen by 66 percent.

Rt Rev John Packer, Bishop of Ripon and Leeds, tells BBC Radio 5 live's Shelagh Fogarty about the tell tale signs the clergy will be looking out for.
