US oil giant Exxon Mobil has announced that it has made a natural gas discovery in offshore Cyprus.
The find could represent natural gas resources of between 5-8 trillion cubic feet.
Shares in Exxon Mobile are up 4%.

Exxon Mobil has reported a better than expected quarterly profit on the back of higher oil and natural gas prices despite a fall in production volumes.
The oil giant said third-quarter net profit was $6.2bn, up from almost $4bn for the same period last year.
Revenues were up a quarter to $76.6bn.
