'Unionists didn't vote for us'
Copyright: BBCColum Eastwood, leader of the SDLP, says that if unionist votes weren't going to the UUP, "they weren't going to be going to us".
He says that in this election, the SDLP would have needed unionists to vote for the party.
"That didn't happen this time," he says.
'We haven't been destroyed'
SDLP leader Colum Eastwood says that while "you always want to win" he is happy the SDLP's vote share has increased.
"We still haven't been destroyed in an election," he says.
