Eurovision Song Contest

More bad news for Eurovision singer Michael

As if it wasn't bad enough... the UK's Eurovision last-place entry by Hartlepool's Michael Rice has suffered another blow after its score was lowered by five points.

A revision of scores means Bigger Than Us picked up only 11 points from Saturday's final.

The contest said an incorrect calculation had been used to create a "substitute" set of points after the Belarusian jury was dismissed.

Rice had originally picked up 16 points.

The top four is unchanged and Duncan Lawrence from the Netherlands remains the winner.

Despite the scoring, Rice has said he enjoyed taking part: "I'm so thankful to the fans... as well as my whole team who have supported me throughout this whole amazing journey."
