Redcar set for starring role

Well, there's not long to go now... a new series starts on BBC Two tonight with the town of Redcar as its star.
Called The Mighty Redcar, the four-part fly-on-the-wall documentary looks at the fortunes of residents since the closure of the steelworks three years ago.
The families featured say it's it's full of life, humour and is actually quite touching. You can find out for yourself at 21:00.

Peaky Blinders is on the move for its next series - but only from BBC Two to BBC One.
Copyright: BBCThe coporation's confirmed the decision today at the Edinburgh TV Festival, saying the show "has become a cult phenomenon".
The crime drama, set in the lawless streets of 1920s Birmingham, finished its fourth season in December.
The BBC says the show was BBC Two's top drama of 2017 and the move allows the channel to "experiment with new drama."
Police force features in modern slavery BBC documentary

Staffordshire Police is going to be featured on BBC Two tonight in a documentary covering one of its investigations into modern day slavery.
The Prosecutors is a series looking at the work of the court.
