Shots fired into south London home

Detectives are appealing for information after shots were fired into a house in south west London.

The outside of a residential property in Gaywood Close, Streatham, was damaged by the shooting at 01:31 BST on Wednesday.

There were no reported injuries.

Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating.

So far no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.

Two men shot in Brixton were attacked by person on moped

Two people who were shot in Brixton on Friday evening are thought to have been attacked by a person travelling on a moped, Scotland Yard have said.

Police had been called to reports of gunshots in Loughborough Road, at 18:52.

Two men, aged 20 and 39, later arrived at hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Their conditions were not life threatening.

The Met said detectives believe the men were hurt when "a person on a moped fired shots towards a pedestrian before leaving the scene".

No arrests have been made.

A total of five people were injured in separate shootings across the capital on the same night.
