People in the Philippines are voting in congressional and local elections seen as a referendum on president Duterte's administration. The president enjoys big support and is predicted to do well in the polls. Aries Arugay, assistant professor at the Department of Political Science University of the Philippines Diliman told BBC Newsday why the elections are so significant.
