The cyclical pulse for the world economy remains weak on the evidence of incoming economic data, however crucially it does not seem to be getting weaker. The slump in interest rates of all maturities seen this year should be among the factors helping the corporate sector to find its feet a little in coming months and quarters. A little more visibility on trade may also help.
